Drama students will lead two programs: K – 3rd grade, and 4th – 6th. Activities will include theatre games, improv, singing and dancing, and a behind the scenes tour. Registration will begin at 2:45. Workshop fee is $15 per child (for bigger families: 2 children for $20; 3 for $25). Proceeds from the workshop will help send Nottingham students to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2016.

A planning meeting for an April 2016 tour to visit historically black colleges and universities is set for Tuesday, August 25, at 5:30 at Corcoran High School, 919 Glenwood Ave. This meeting is for students and families interested in being part of the April 2016 tour; typically juniors participate in the tour but sophomores and seniors are welcome if space is available.
Attendance at this initial meeting is highly recommended as the tour fills up quickly and those in attendance will have preference. Applications will be provided during the meeting.
Register to attend the meeting by calling 435-6275. Students and parent/guardian both must attend.
