SCSD Summer Musical is “13”

The SCSD summer musical this year is “13,” a great show about middle school and family and friendships and dates at the Cineplex. Performances are set for August 5, 6 and 7; auditions will be held in early June.

Auditions will begin at 3 pm:                                                                               Nottingham – Wednesday, June 1                                                                              Fowler and ITC – Thursday, June 2                                                                         Henninger – Monday, June 6                                                                                    Corcoran – Tuesday, June 7                                                                                          Middle schoolers can attend auditions at whichever high school is most convenient.

Girls Basketball Players Receive All-League Recognition

Pancake Breakfast Features 8th Grade Welcome

Nottingham’s annual Pancake Breakfast is set for Saturday, May 14—breakfast for all combined with a special welcome for the Nottingham Class of 2020 and their families.  All Nottingham friends and family are invited to join us for pancakes; we have some special activities planned for the 8th graders.

 Pancakes are $5 per person; $20 per family.  Pancakes served 8-11 am.

Incoming Nottingham Freshmen and their families are invited to a morning orientation at Nottingham.

Vex Robotics Team is on Top of The World

During the third week in April, four Nottingham students competed in the Vex World Championships. After four days of tough competition, Nottingham’s Team 5937 A, F(net) pronounced as Net Force, brought all they had and finished 4-6 at world level competition. Final results put them in the top 7% of Vex Robotics Team in the World!!!!

The team, coached by Nottingham tech teacher Bryan English, is listed below:

Nottingham Snags Three Nominations in Syracuse High School Theater Awards

The Syracuse High School Theater Awards nominations have just been announced, and we are proud to share that Lucinda Sauffley was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Berthe in Pippin. Tim Willard was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance as Charlemagne in Pippin, and Nottingham’s Pippin was nominated for an Outstanding Special Achievement Award.  Congratulations.
