Each year Nottingham’s theater troupe, the Meadowbrook Harlequins, produces a fall play and a spring musical. This fall’s play is Love, Sex, and the IRS. The production is completely run by students with the assistance of staff advisors. Students design, construct, and paint the set; make costumes; design props; and operate the lighting and sound systems, very rare for high school productions.
The Nottingham yearbook staff has shared the following information about deadlines for ordering a year book, submitting senior portraits, baby pictures and senior quotes and creating tribute ads from parents.
Also included is a form for businesses to run an a in the 2018 yearbook to show support for Nottingham. Parent businesses are encouraged to support the yearbook as are neighborhood businesses.
Please remember that Lifetouch picture days (for the 2017-2018 Nottingham yearbook) are Wednesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 19th. For seniors, please plan on getting your picture taken regardless if you are using a private photographer for your yearbook picture.
If you choose to submit a senior picture from a private photographer for the yearbook, the deadline is also December 1st. Please contact yearbook advisor Mr. Gomez at agomez34 [at] scsd [dot] us for details about this process.
Look for information to come home this week from your student about the 2018 yearbook.
The Syracuse City Girls Swimming and Diving team is hosting its annual pancake breakfast fundraiser at Applebee’s (Erie Blvd) this Sunday, October 8, from 8-10 am. Cost is $7 per person. There will also be gift baskets for raffle and a 50/50. It’s a great time and a great way to support women’s sports, the swim team, and your Syracuse City School District. Hope to see you there.
